Mrs. Gedlinbauch
No one knew what often took hold of her. At the end of a show, from her box, she would pendulum to the stage on a gymnastics ring and help the actors soak in the applause.

The Beach
She sat there, her body seeming to crinkle from the heat and the water looked so damn good.

For me, it has always been about art that creates a memory, a story, a little expansion to my world. It’s that feeling you get from a song that makes you want to move, a rush. I hope that my characters breathe and give people that feeling. I want them to be played with in people's imaginations throughout the day- To get people to wonder about the characters, who they are, and how they are with the world. It’s a sort of play we don’t let ourselves have, our own creative reaction to something. My pieces are here to give people permission.
